Sandblasting
One of the classic treatments performed during the surface cleaning cycle of metals is sandblasting. Although it is usually an intermediate process, in our case it is often used as a final treatment. Sandblasting is a mechanical process in which the surface layer of the metal is eroded by abrasion through a jet of fine sand and compressed air.
After this process, the surface acquires a pleasant velvety texture and an aesthetically matte appearance. At the same time, the material’s strength remains unchanged.
